Today we were lucky to do two landings on South Georgia. The first one in the first half of the day in Fortuna Bay. The second one in the afternoon at Stromness. The two were planned to be linked by a hike of part of the passengers. Just the weather conditions were not favourable enough to do so. Conditions up on the mountain range that is "linking" the two bays changed between snow and snow and poor visibility and just a bit less poor visibility as well. How we could tell? Well the mountains were most of the time covered in fresh snow falling all around. So we enjoyed the wildlife at both of the places. And since we had some extra time the stays ashore were extended and everyone had the chance to get a full impression of all the animals around.
